The One Billion Survivor is an upcoming and proposed version of The One Billion Survivor. It will be developed by RaidKiller24 Enterprises since it is highly based on Pump It Up and its unofficial simulators. The game will be similar to Pump It Up, except that it has an actual storyline, and separate campaigns and/or quests. Unlike the Pump It Up series, The One Billion Survivor is never made to be promoted at all costs.
It will be released in 2024 on an unknown date, after nearly four to five years since the release of the namesake old version. The levels will be released on YouTube at first, before moving on to finalizing the project. It will be first released as a downloadable simfile that's suitable for most Pump It Up simulators, including the now-discontinued PumpSanity.
Although it will not be affiliated with any Pump It Up game whatsoever, the gameplay is most likely based on it however, it will have mechanics of most platformer games.
Levels
The main storyline has 8 Stages, each of which have 6 levels in it, which end in a boss battle at the end of every sixth level.
Main Story
The storyline starts with a view of a boarding aircraft during a long flight between Tokyo and Doha and then the latter to Rio de Janeiro. Suddenly, the aircraft ends up having an unexpected malfunction and the latter smashes down an unknown island that appears to be Rio de Janeiro, before revealing it to be a strange country that is now known as Survival Land. The player character, having emerged and survived the aircraft's downfall, starts to investigate the "strange country".
As it turns out, it was later revealed to be a strange metropolis that appears to be normal and formally inhabited by the members of Survival Land, but as the player gets closer to see what's happening, darkness shrouds the Earth, creating a large vortex. The darkness dissipates after that and the inhabitants of Survival Land are now missing. This causes the player character to start their journey.
At the Tutorial Stage, the player starts their journey on a secluded island where it houses a hybrid of a video game station and a theater. This lead to the player finishing the tutorial moves and skills, causing the player to start their main adventure at Stage 1.
At Stage 1, the player goes on a solo expedition (or real expedition if it's multiplayer) to seek through the mysteries of the country, starting with the plains while going into one of the country's forest caverns and heading back up, but they inadvertently end up in a taken factory and they are forced to fight a formidable opponent with enhanced armor. Eventually, the player is able to defeat him with their dancing skills whilst also combating the enhanced soldier. The soldier lies defeated, marking his surrender.
At Stage 2, the player finds out they're in a fantasy realm filled with cubical platforms, terrain, and spacing. The player tries to continue forward but is interrupted by a pixelated goop of a strange, red substance. When the player tries to touch it, it became immediately sentient and starts following after the realm's unique platforms. This ultimately lead to a mysterious pathway that the player is able to confront that virus. It transforms into Lord Pixel Virus and is sooner or later defeated by the player, dissipating quickly into its tiny remnants.
At Stage 3, the player plummets down into a strange, shifting island of what appears to be a real-life city. There, the player can find hidden treasures in that one island. However, the player is stopped by NovoRiot and RoboRiot, both of which are robotic vehicles. RoboRiot is made out of a car while NovoRiot appears to be a life-sized mech. The player is able to defeat them both and continue onward.
At Stage 4, the player explores a mystical forest, only for it to be controlled by a mysterious deity of some sort, as he is fought later. He is eventually defeated by the player and they access Stage 5.
At Stage 5, the player ends up in a crystalline world, only for it to reveal that it is a large island that almost looks like a country but is inhabited by its own denizens, in which they're called Crystal Lites. This causes the adventurer to engage with a battle with the Cosmic Dragon 2000.
At Stage 6, the player enters a mysterious, foggy, landscape with a futuristic setting, where it was taken over by a mysterious wizard of some sort. The Stormy FloodMech is then fought at the end of Stage 6.
At Stage 7, the player encounters a cursed town that has been taken over by Jack P. Murdoch. In the volcanic zone, Jack P. Murdoch uses his powers to summon a robotic ogre named the MURDOCH MECH MAYHEM.
Lastly, at Stage 8, the player finally reaches a dark inert, sharp-looking, corrupted tower (also known as the Darkness Corporation) held by its leader, the Hacker. The player is eventually able to defeat him, but this turn of events causes the Hacker to transform into his Final Form, which takes on an apparition that's closer to the Underground Nation, with the combined powers from the previously defeated bosses. This causes the events of the Final Boss level to start. The player eventually overpowers the Hacker, dealing a final blow to him, resulting in a huge explosion. This causes the world to restore to its former beauty after the Hacker's death, as the storyline comes to a close.
In a post-credits scene, the player writes a story of all of the events that happened in the titular game.
