Planet

Planets (惑星) are large, rounded astronomical body that is neither a star nor its remnant.
Planets (惑星, wakusei) are relatively low-mass objects orbiting a star. The most familiar example is the eight planets orbiting the Sun, but since the 1990s, planets (exoplanets) have been discovered on stars other than the Sun.
The term "planet" in the solar system today is limited to celestial bodies orbiting the sun that have enough mass to maintain a spherical shape under their own gravity and wipe out all other nearby bodies except for their satellites.
