Writer

Writers (作家, sakka) are mostly people who write for a living.

Ones that write for a living are also called authors. It can also refer to novelists, and sometimes includes painters, cartoonists, and other professionals who work on works other than writing.

However, the term "XX writer" can also be used to describe a person whose occupation is to create XX, such as a sculptor, dollmaker, animation artist, or picture book author.
