Overview

Kessoku Band (結束バンド) is a girls' rock band unit that appears in the manga Bocchi the Rock! (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく!).

A four-piece band of high school girls based at the Shimokitazawa live-house "STARRY". An emo emo ('very emotional') rock band (planned).

The band has only just formed, but they are aiming to become professionals, partly because of Nijika's "dream", and they practice daily after school in a rehearsal studio.

The members are as follows.

A bassist who buys high-end equipment and then sells it, leaving the debt behind and living off the wild grass.
A vocalist who takes the band's publicity SNS account personal and posts all sorts of beauty information.
A drummer who uses a car accelerator and brake as drum pedals and drives erratically in a driving school.
A lead guitarist who uses the vibrations of a nervous body to perform high-speed full picking.

... In this way, they are a group of unique individuals.

Ryo mainly composes the music and Hitori writes the lyrics. The lyrics are all gloomy, as Hitori is allergic to the glittering adolescent lyricism.

Nijika and Ryo, Hitori and Ikuyo attend two different high schools.

As they are still unknown, the band is struggling to finance their live shows, so they sell "cable ties" ('Kessoku Band' in Japanese) that have only been painted with colors, calling them "wristbands" and charging a rip-off price.

Contrary to the band's name (Kessoku Band, lit. 'The tied band'), the relationship between the members is rather dry.
