Overview
Team Dark (チームダーク, Chīmu Dāku) is a team comprise of Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, E-123 Omega and temporarily E-10000B from the Sonic series. All three members work for G.U.N. with the goal of defeating Dr. Eggman. Shadow and Rouge first appear and worked together in Sonic Adventure 2 but with Dr. Eggman. All of them had the same goal in mind once Omega showed up in Sonic Heroes.
Shadow, the Ultimate Life Form, Rouge, a world-famous treasure hunter and Omega, the most powerful of the E-Series are all capable in their own right but together they seem unstoppable.
It has been debated by fans by who takes the role as team leader, Shadow being the most popular pick. Some say it was Rouge due to being the one that got to two to work together and is shown much more in a leadership role. Maybe if no one is the leader, it works to their advantage...?
