Overview
The meme is said to be originated from Futaba Channel's Inner Model board (模型裏板, mokei uraban).
The meme depicts some sort of a collaboration using the parts of Gundam AGE-1 Titus (from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) to combine with Madoka Kaname figma/Nendroid (from Puella Magi Madoka Magica). While this was made purely for fun, somehow it really fits, and the meme soon caught on. Soon they took the meme further by using Madoka's infamous despair face, which it surprisingly work as a joke.
Other variations exist as well, where some brought it further by using the parts of Gundam AGE-1 Sparrow to combine with Homura Akemi, creating a variation of the meme. (See Homura Sparrow).
However, in order to fit the parts properly into Madoka figma, one will have to perform some very minor modifications on the legs (either Titus's parts or Madoka's legs). But the arms can be attached right away without the need of modification.
