ufotable Ltd. is a Japanese animation production company, founded in 2000 by Hikaru Kondo, who became independent from TMS Entertainment, and has studios in Tokyo and Tokushima, Kondo's birthplace. The company also operates cafes and movie theaters as places to interact with fans.
Since 2007, as part of the "TYPE-MOON x ufotable project," the company has worked on the theatrical animation "The Garden of the Sinners" and has also worked on the TYPE-MOON productions of the Fate series anime and the Nitroplus original "Katsugeki/Toukendanbu" (sword battle/ sword dance).
