Overview
Samurai Jack (サムライジャック) is a Cartoon Network animated series that aired 62 episodes between 2001 and 2017 in the United States (and 2002 in Japan).
It tells the story of a samurai who is sent to a future world by the invader Aku and drifts away from the Aku-controlled future world in order to return to his original world.
It is one of the most popular cartoons of the 2000s, revolutionizing the cartoon world with its serious style of action and death.
After a long absence since 2004, the final season, Season 5, began airing in 2017.
Fifty years have passed since the previous seasons, and unlike the previous seasons up to season 4, it was broadcast on Adult Swim (so-called late-night time slot), making the expressions more extreme.
