Overview
The Hoenn three starters (ホウエン御三家, Hōen gosanke) are three members of the Pokémon family in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald (3rd generation) and its remake, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Their names are derived from the Hoenn region where they are set.
They are also sometimes referred to as the Ruby Sapphire three starters (ルビサファ御三家, Rubisafa gosanke) or the 3rd generation three starters (3代目御三家, 3 dai me gosanke).
