Never Thought of That Before

Never Thought of That Before is a tag for illustrations where any concept and idea shown in illustrations that were never used before in any existing works prior to this, sometimes unexpected. However, rehashed concepts and copied memes used or thown into any works aren't exactly rare either.

The origin of this tag seems to be originated from a variety show called "Downtown Gaki no Tsukai Ya Arahende!!", aired on Nihon TV. Where a character known as Itao's Wife has this favourite phrase saying "Sono hassou wa nakatta wa" (note the "wa" which is used for feminine speech in Japanese), which translates to "never thought of that before~!" (the ~ is used to denote a feminine tone into a sentence). This tag is deriviated from that sentence.

Although used almost entirely for meme illustrations, it is used mostly for praise, for illustrations with extraordinary creativity or ideas one would most likely never think of it until it is presented.
