7th Dragon 2020 is the second game under the "7th Dragon" series developed by Imageepoch Inc. and published by SEGA. The game was released on 23 November 2011 for the Playstation Portable.

Development編集

Produced by Rieko Kodama and directed by Kazuya Niinou, 7th Dragon 2020 uses Earth in an alternate future as the setting rather than Eden from the previous game. Yuzo Koshiro returns as the game's music composer while the scenario is written by Bingo Morihashi. Character designs by Shirou Miwa of supercell.


7th Dragon 2020 is also the first game to feature Hatsune Miku as a Non-Playable character who also sings the game's theme song "SeventH-HeaveN", composed by sasakure.UK.


Story編集

Set in A.D. 2020, Tokyo, a wyer of space dragons invaded Earth and covered most of the world's major cities with a unknown flower called Flowaro. To counter this major threat in Japan, a special division called Murakumo was formed to recruit individuals with "unique talents" in order to defeat the dragons and liberate Tokyo.


Character Creation System編集

Similar to the previous game, players must create a party of three characters using the provided character models (5 Males, 5 Females) followed by the character class, the character's name and seiyuu.

Character Classes編集

SamuraiThe all rounded class which can take care of itself. Uses swords or katanas and is able to switch between two different stances during battle.
TricksterA class that focuses on speed and agility. Tricksters can either use knives to inflict status ailments or handguns to provide fire support.
DestroyerThe tanker class that deals heavy damage and uses anti-dragon related skills. Destroyers also inflict a unique status on enemies which acts as a key to unlock some of the their deadly attacks.
PsychicThe magician/healer class. Psychics can use elemental based attacks for both offense and defense or heal party members.
HackerA unique class that "hacks" reality to give status buffs to the entire party. Hackers can also hack an enemy to make it weaker or influence it to attack other enemies.

Natsume Hikasa (日暈棗, ひかさ なつめ)編集

Head of the Murakumo special division who seeks out individuals that has the power to defeat the dragons.

Ayafumi Kirino (桐野礼文, きりの あやふみ)編集

A Murakumo researcher who assists Natsume in studying the dragons that has invaded earth.

Murakumo's reconnaissance operator androids who works with the hunters during missions.

Gatou (ガトウ)編集

An veteran Murakumo hunter that helps the player during the Murakumo participation exam.

Aoi Unose (雨瀬アオイ, うのせ あおい)編集

A young and inexperienced girl who recently joined Murakumo after the dragon invasion.


SKY編集

A local group taking refuge in Shibuya, making the entire ward their hideout. Not heeding Murakumo's advice in joining them, the group rather do things their way to survive.

Takehaya (タケハヤ)編集

SKY's leader who does not trust Murakumo especially Natsume.

Neko (ネコ)編集

Takehaya's subordinate. An easygoing moodmaker who treats the SKY group as a family.

Daigo (ダイゴ)編集

Takehaya's subordinate. The most calm and rational member in the group.

Aitelle (アイテル)編集

A mysterious girl who follows Takehaya.
