Overview
April Fools' Day (エイプリルフール, eipurirufūru) is an annual tradition that on April 1, people are allowed to tell harmless lies pull pranks on others. It is widely known that it is acceptable to tell a lie in the morning (from sunrise to noon), but there are cases where it is acceptable to tell a lie throughout the day, as there are differences depending on the region.
In many cases, it is also part of the custom to tell the other person that the lie is a lie in the end, such as when the other person believes a lie that is too realistic, but there are many theories here. Incidentally, the sun rises at around 5:30 a.m. during this season. The origin of this custom is unknown, as there is no proof of the origin of this custom.
