Author is sick series (作者は病気シリーズ, sakusha wa byōki shirīzu) is a tag used to point out the illustration or its author's abnormality. Mainly appended by viewers.
Although initially used as an insult, it is often used to mean "It's so far out there that it's rather respectable" either. Works displaying peculiar R-18 tastes also mix in with this tag. This tag is one of the variations of the "Author is ___ Series", "Author is ___".
