The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress an Strategic US Bomber. The B-52 was first flown in 1952 and produced between then and 1959. Due to it's size, it often been informally nicknamed the B.U.F.F. (Big Ugly Fat Fella..). Since 1955, the USAF has operated the B-52 in service.
