Buruaka is a colloquial Japanese shorthand for ブルーアーカイブ (Burūākaibu), also known as Blue Archive, a South Korean Role-playing game developed by a subsidiary of Nexon; Nexon Games. It features gacha mechanics fueled by obtaining alluring characters.

It at one point attracted controversy due to a reduction of risque content for international release, despite this content remaining unchanged in the Japanese release, accusations of censorship and a significant backlash ensued.
