Continental Airlines was a major US airline that existed between 1937 and 2012. The airline's globe livery adopted by United Airlines after merging with Continental.
Continental also owned a subsidiary known as Continental Micronesia that was based on the US island of Guam. In 2017, Continental Micronesia also merged into United Airlines.
