Talents
- Normal Attack: Tempered Sword
- Normal Attack: Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes.
- Charged Attack: Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous slashes. At the end of the sequence, performs a more powerful slash.
- Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
- Elemental Skill: Searing Onslaught
Performs a forward slash that deals Pyro DMG. This skill can be consecutively used 3 times.
Enters CD if not cast again within a short period.
- Elemental Burst: Dawn
Releases intense flames to knock back nearby opponents, dealing Pyro DMG.
The flames then converge into the weapon, summoning a Phoenix that flies forward and deals massive Pyro DMG to all opponents in its path. The Phoenix explodes upon reaching its destination, causing a large amount of AoE Pyro DMG. The searing flames that run down his blade cause it to be infused with Pyro.

Personality
Kaeya Alberich calls himself and Diluc "anti-heroes with attitude problems". He decided to take matters into his own hands by becoming, to his dismay and embarrassment, the "Darknight Hero" to protect Mondstadt's people.
Diluc was once an ideal young man, dedicated to his work with Knights of Favonius. After his father's untimely demise as a result of using a Delusion, along with Inspector Eroch ordering Diluc to cover up the incident, his faith in the Knights shattered and he left the organization. Even after Eroch was purged from the Knights for being a traitor, he still holds resentment towards them. He claims that the Knights take too long to get the job done, although he still appreciates those who put the effort in, such as Lisa(Genshin Impact) and Jean (Genshin Impact).
When he was a member of the Knights, he adored his father, Crepus. Being praised by his father made him happier than fame and anything else, and Crepus told Diluc to be faithful in his duties. After his father's death, he has been suppressing himself. Despite coming off as bitter and grumpy through his speech, he has a gentle, tender, and modest nature. In his childhood, Diluc had a lighthearted and happy nature, rather to the contrary of him now.
Diluc is not fond of alcohol, as he does not like its taste and that it clouds his mind when he tries to work. He prefers non-alcoholic drinks such as grape juice and apple cider, which he had ordered developed upon his return to Mondstadt. This does not appear to be well known by many however, most likely as a result of him being the current owner of Mondstadt's largest wine producer. He even expresses surprise when he learns that Diona (Genshin Impact) also loathes alcohol, having initially believed that he was the only bartender in Mondstadt that did not like alcohol. He also tends to part with his possessions he no longer needs, such as his father's private residence.

Character Mentions
Master Diluc is my senior, and I have the utmost respect for him. Though we have gone separate ways, I can sense we share the same strong commitment to protecting Mondstadt at all costs.
Master Diluc has his reasons for being so critical of the Knights of Favonius. I am not proud of the way things went, but I cannot change the past. All I can do is keep working hard, in the hope he may one day see us in a better light... This is my duty.
Diluc? He was cute as a young lad. But nowadays he just seems to be in a world of his own... Overall, not much fun to hang out with.
Diluc... I can't stand him! If there was no Diluc, there would be no Mondstadt wine industry; if there was no Mondstadt wine industry, Daddy wouldn't drink; and if Daddy didn't drink... he would keep me company. Ohhhh...
Oh, Master Diluc? Last time, when I was performing at Angel's Share, he kept frowning... Maybe he doesn't like my singing?
I don't get along with some of the knights, and he doesn't think much of them in general, so you'd think that would make us allies. But the way he always acts so aloof — he's even worse than Acting Grand Master Jean. I want nothing to do with him.
You want to know about Diluc? Haha, in that case, I know someone else you should talk to.
He's one of the weird grown-ups. He's so grumpy all the time... Why does he never smile?
I'm not surprised you want to befriend Master Diluc, just think of all vintage wine he must have stored away... Mwuhahaha... Huh? He doesn't let you sample it? Not even the slightest drop? Huh... Well, I guess you can still appreciate the aroma. That's still better than no wine at all, right? No?
Diluc Ragnvindr. His constellation, Noctua, represents vigilance in the darkness of night... A lone guardian keeping watch, longing for the splendor of dawn, yet destined to solitude in the dark days preceding its arrival. ...Or, wait, maybe Noctua's the one tied to wealth...?
Diluc is red and black. Hot and cold.
Isn't it obvious? There's more than meets the eye to that rich tycoon. He's confident, yet discreet... and even a little bit dangerous.
Paimon: Strange...
(Traveler): What's wrong?
Paimon: Diluc and Kaeya are really alike, so why don't they get along?
(Traveler): How are they alike, again?
Paimon: Well, Kaeya's the kind of guy who acts shady in the light of day...
Paimon: While Diluc is a shining beacon of justice in the dark of night!
Paimon: Don't you think that's... kinda the same thing...?
(Traveler): Uhh... I still don't see it.
(Traveler): I've heard that if you give tavern owners a considerable tip, they'll be willing to (give/share) some information on the down low.
Paimon: You mean the Angel's Share? But Master Diluc seems like a very rich man.
Paimon: How big a tip is "considerable," anyway?
(Traveler): Huh... Maybe I might have heard wrong.
(Traveler): Or maybe I might have heard this rumor in another world...
Paimon: You sure have been to many worlds, haven't you?
(Traveler): If one Hilichurl could beat, say, three wild boars...
(Traveler): Then how many Hilichurls would it take to reach the fighting prowess of Master Jean and Master Diluc?
Paimon: Not sure... but if you heard the way everyone talks in Mondstadt, you'd know that Master Jean is the strongest.
(Traveler): I'd say that if Diluc strikes first, Master Jean wouldn't be able to counter.
Paimon: Oh, she'd find a way.
(Traveler): There's no way.
Paimon: Master Jean's Elemental Burst is really strong, you know.
(Traveler): Yes, but that "field" would also make Diluc stronger.
Paimon: Paimon doesn't think Master Jean would even need her Vision to take on Master Diluc, because—
(Traveler): Diluc would only need a beginner's greatsword to—
Paimon: Uh...
(Traveler): Ugh...
(Traveler): ...This is so dumb.
(Traveler): They both fight for Mondstadt, so they wouldn't come to blows.
Paimon: That's why Paimon likes your idea of measuring their fighting strength in number of hilichurls.
Paimon: ...Or in Paimon's case, in fifths of a wild boar.
