Overview
Galbi (갈비), also known as kalbi (キムチ, karubi) in Japanese, is a Korean grilled dish as well as just being the Korean word for ribs.
In Japan, ribs of beef are usually cut and seasoned for barbecue. Pork (grilled pork /samgyeopsal) and spicy stir-fried chicken (dak-galbi) are also sometimes called kalbi.
