Overview
Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko was first published in August 1989, but was originally the Kadokawa Bunko Blue Obi, which appeared in October 1987. Furthermore, the name Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko itself had been used as the nickname for Kadokawa Bunko Blue Obi since February 1989. Incidentally, it was decided through a public contest.
In addition to producing many works that have been adapted into TV anime, they have recently been publishing works published on Kakuyomu, a novel submission site run by KADOKAWA, as books.
