Overview
Kaworu Nagisa (渚 カヲル, Nagisa Kaworu) is the Fifth Child and an Angel, Tabris. In the TV version, he is the 17th Angel, and in the Sadamoto manga version, he is the 12th Angel. In Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, he was the 1st Angel, but was dropped to the 13th Angel when the Fourth Impact occurred.
The TV series version, the manga version by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, and the new movie version each have different stories, but the flow is the same: Shinji Ikari, who has lost his friends and is injured, and forms a friendship with him, but dies in the battle in Central Dogma.
Appearance
He is an extremely fair-skinned like Rei, with ash-gray hair and red eyes.
Personality
He goes by the first person pronoun boku (僕). He always smiles softly, likes music, and is often mysterious and philosophical.
Abilities
His true identity Tabris, corresponds to the "Angel of free will and freedom" in the Old Testament.
He can freely manipulate the synchronization rate with eva, and can be controlled without boarding.
He has a variety of special abilities, such as the ability to deploy an AT Field at will, float through the air, and unlock anything by simply looking at it.
