Overview
A mammal classified as carnivores in the Felidae family of the Panthera genus.
Its body length is around 130 - 190 cm, weight is around 30 - 80 kg, and the tail length is around 100 cm. It is widely distributed throughout Africa and Asia, with many subspecies present. Of all cats, except for pet cats, it is the species that is distributed over the widest range.
Its body is ochre or reddish brown, with a black ume-like pattern. Depending on the region, there are individuals with black bodies all over their bodies, and are called "black panthers".
