Character
VA: Kanna Nakamura/Molly Zhang
Nel has purple eyes and very long black hair tied into a high ponytail with a hair ribbon and hair clip. She wore a white school uniform with a red bowtie that was later replaced with a blue bowtie. She also wore her Black Tights and knee-high boots.
She is a former apostle belonging to the Mar-La branch. She has already lost three times and retired from “Playing of the Gods”. Although she was active as a member of the logistics support team, using a kick that repelled all objects and magic, she was forced to retire because of the captain and vice-captain, who easily broke down and gave up when their plan collapsed just a little. She still has lingering memories of the last time she played the game of the gods.
One day, after seeing Fay's success in winning a game against Ouroboros for the first time in human history, he began to respect him as “worthy of my Lord! and he volunteers to become his apprentice. When Fay and his friends visited the Marula branch to participate in an event, she appeared in front of them, and at their first meeting, she suddenly got down on her knees and begged to become his apprentice. However, when she said “Lord Fay, I want you to make me your woman,” she was run away by Fay and the others who thought she was a suspicious person.
After that, she unsuccessfully tried several times to appeal directly for an apprenticeship, but the Fay's team had investigated her background and softened their attitude when they learned that she was an excellent candidate.
After watching the exchange game the night before the main event and the main event the next day under Faye's direction, she again asks to be added to the team, even if it is in a support role, although Faye points out that she has lingering feelings about playing with the gods, and she confides her conflicting feelings that she really wants to participate again but cannot overturn the rules. After some consideration, she accepts Faye's proposal to regain her eligibility by winning a game with the bookmaker, who can adjust the odds of winning or losing.
Later, Faye entrusted her with three of the six wins, and she played a game with the betting gods and lost miserably. However, after Fay won the game with the betting gods, who offered her the other three wins and said that if she won, she would have Nel's losses erased, her total record was revised to 3-0, and she regained her eligibility to participate in the play of the gods. After that, they moved from the Mar-La branch to the Ruin branch, where they officially became teammates of Fay and her friends.
As mentioned above, she has a somewhat natural and droll personality, and speaks in a samurai tone, although she does not use “I” or “that I am”. Because of her honest nature, she is not good at psychological battles such as games with betting gods. She also has a habit of getting down on her knees and apologizing when she feels responsible for a mistake.
