Public Safety Devil Hunters
The Public Safety Devil Hunters (公安のデビルハンター, Kōan no Debiru Hantā) is divided into divisions 1, 2, and so on, and each division seems to have slightly different roles and the quality of the abilities of its members. Special Division 4, to which Denji belongs, seems to have a particularly large number of non-human devis.
Although the headquarters is located in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, where the Prime Minister resides, there are organizations throughout the country.
In the work, Devil Hunters from Kyoto and Miyagi appear too.
Since the job is so dangerous that one could die at any time, it is rather commonplace that one's peers are wiped out or that senior or junior workers find themselves dead.
On the other hand, the salary and benefits seem to be quite good, with Himeno living in a high-rise apartment in central Tokyo and Kobeni Higashiyama, who has only been with the company a short time, buying a new car.
