Overview
"Saber" Class of the Holy Grail War.
Saber, known as Knight of the Sword, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War and considered one of the Three Knight classes along with Lancer and Archer.
Warriors that are designated under the Saber class are agile and powerful melee warriors adept at swordsmanship. The qualifying conditions require the Heroic Spirits to have legends as a knights of the sword, and it is the class that requires the highest levels of attributes in all but the Magic attribute. Since servants of the Saber class has proceeded to the final battleground of each Holy Grail War without fail, Saber has been boasted by Magis around to be the strongest class.
Servants of this class have high ratings in all categories, and the compatible Heroic Spirits usually excel in delivering powerful burst attacks. The Class Abilities include the strongest Magic Resistance of all classes, and the Riding ability like the Rider Class.
Unformatted by a Heroic Spirit, the base parameters of the Saber-class container are: Strength A, Endurance B, Agility B, Mana C, and Luck D.

Player side Saber

Also known as Red Saber or Saber Extra.
While this Saber looks exactly like the one we are familiar with, it is important to note that this Saber is not Arturia Pendragon, and her real identity is Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. Personality wise, she is close to Gilgamesh.
While she likes pretty boys, she is also shown to like pretty girls as well. In other words, she swings both ways.
She also views Rin Tohsaka as her rival, as seen in the game.
Enemy side Saber
Voiced by：水島大宙
One of the servants of the Saber class summoned by Leonardo B. Harwey.
His real identity is one of the Knights of the Round Table appeared in the Arthurian legends, Gawain.
His personality is that of a pure knight, an ideal young warrior and thus his affection towards his relatives was greater than in others. He is also King Arthur's nephew.
His Noble Phantasm is Excalibur Galatine, the sister sword of Excalibur.
「Fate/Apocrypha」
Also known by fans asPurple Saber. Her real identity is: Joan of Arc (or Jeanne d'Arc). Please refer to her name for details.
She is also designated by Kinoko Nasu as a Ruler, an additional classification of the Saber class.
Evil Saber(Reality)
One of the figures made in China. Also known as "Sader" by the fans.
Due to the popularity of the series, the atrocious shape of the figure, especially the evil looking face has attracted many criticisms from fans around the world.

Though he was set to appear in Fate/Stay night, but fearing a male Saber wouldn't be acceptable amongst the fans, Kinoko Nasu rewrote the story along with the characters and became Saber as we know today.
