Overview
The Republic of Serbia is a landlocked country in Southeast Europe. Serbia is located in the southern part of the Pannonia Plain and the central part of the Balkan Peninsula. Serbia borders Hungary to the north, Romania and Bulgaria to the east, Albania and North Macedonia to the south, bordered by Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west. The population of this country is 10,150,265 people (according to data recorded in July 2007).
