The Ticonderoga-class cruiser are a class of cruisers of the US Navy. The Ticonderogas were the first combat vessels to be equipped with the AEGIS Combat System and the AN/SPY-1 passive phased array radar. The first five were equipped with the Mark 26 twin missile launcher while the rest have the Mark 41 VLS system that allows them to launch Tomahawk and ASROC missiles.
