Overview
Vividred Operation (ビビッドレッド・オペレーション, Bibiddoreddo Operēshon) is an original anime project by Aniplex, Dengeki G's Magazine, and A-1 Pictures.
Directed and character designed by Kazuhiro Takamura of Strike Witches.
It was broadcast from January to March 2013 on MBS, TBS, CBC, and BS-TBS. It also followed by a rerun on MBS in March and April of the same year, as well as on Tokyo MX from July to September of the same year.
Plot
In the future, war for resources have become obsolete due to the invention of Manifestation Engine, which is able to supply enough energy for the whole world. However, a threat appears in the form of the Alone, mechanical monsters that seek to destroy the Manifestation Engine. Akane Isshiki, granddaughter of one of the Engine's inventors, don the Palette Suits to battle the threat.

Akane Isshiki is the main character. Her Palette Suits is red.
Aoi Futaba

Aoi Futaba is Akane's very best friend. Her Palette Suits is blue. When Akane is docking with her, they turn into VividBlue.
Wakaba Saegusa
CV: Yuka Ootsubo
Wakaba Saegusa is a girl with talent for sports. Her Palette Suits is green.
Himawari Shinomiya
CV: Aya Uchida
Himawari Shinomiya is a brilliant yet a shut-in super-hacker. Her Palette Suits is yellow.
Rei Kuroki
CV: Maaya Uchida
Rei Kuroki is a dark magical girl like antagonist. She's supporting the Alone in their attempt to destroy the Manifestation Engine.
Momo Isshiki
CV: Asuka Oogame
Momo Isshiki is Akane's little sister, whom she cares so much.
Mizuha Amagi
CV: Haruka Yamazaki
Mizuha Amagi is a pilot from the Japanese Self-Defense Force.
