Overview
Wirbel is the captain of the Northern Magic Corps and met Frieren's group while taking the promotion exam to First Class Mage together. For someone like him who has participated in the war, magic is just a tool to kill (this is the reason why Wirbel was promoted by Serie to the First Class Mage).
Although he appears to be an unpleasant and scary guy, Wirbel is actually a kind person, always helping people and willing to give up fighting if he feels that killing is no longer necessary at that time.
