Rinmeikan Performance Association - Yuyuko Tanaka! I will put my life on the line!

Introduction

She is a first-year student from the Performance Department at Rinmeikan Girls School.

Yuyuko prefers staying up late and sleeping during the day, and is always tired at school because of this. She hides any hint of putting in effort, and works hard in secret. Fond of traditional Japanese performing arts, she especially likes rakugo storytelling. Her music playlist is almost entirely comprised of rakugo performances.

Appearance

Yuyuko has shoulder-length peach-colored hair that she generally wears loose and split in two even sections over her shoulders, with blunt bangs that are slightly parted on the right side. She accessorizes the left side of the longer outer section of her bangs with three red hairclips in the shape of a Z. Her eyes are a red ochre.

Personality

Yuyuko is highly interested in traditional Japanese arts, particularly the art of rakugo. She occasionally drops casual references to old Japanese culture in conversation. Because of her enthusiasm, she often attempts to get her friends into traditional Japanese arts and share everything she knows, even if it requires trickery. However, not many people her age are interested in traditional Japanese arts, causing her to be lonely until she made friends at Rinmeikan.

Yuyuko tends to avoid openly showing how she feels out of a fear of not being accepted. As she finds more friends who accept her for who she is and encourage her interests, she becomes more comfortable sharing her emotions. When she does find people she cares about, she goes to great lengths to express her gratitude and becomes fiercely attached to them.

When it comes to the things she is interested in or the people she loves, Yuyuko works very hard. She does not let the difficulty of a task stop her when she really wants to take it on, and she throws herself into practice when she faces high levels of difficulty. She often stays up late at night to write As a result, she tends to be tired during the day and sleep during class or practice. Sometimes, she uses her reputation to feign sleepiness in order to avoid conversation or to hide that she works hard.

When she is really frustrated with someone, she can speak harshly to them. She also tends to tease her friends, most often Rui regarding her admiration for Tamao.

Yuyuko tends to understand people's emotions and thoughts well without being told anything explicitly.

Background

Under the influence of one of her relatives, who is a rakugo storyteller, Yuyuko became interested in traditional Japanese arts. Yuyuko enrolled at Rinmeikan Girls School because of its instruction on classical Japanese language and arts, only picking the performance department because it was related to rakugo.
