Overview

Zhu Yuan is an officer of the Public Security, a police organization that protects order in the New Eridu metropolitan area, and is the leader of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team of the Metropolitan Order Department.

She has an honest personality, cares about the safety of his people, and even when faced with criminals, she does not punish them personally and calls them to face justice, making her a role model for security officers. Although she is a boss-like person, she is an active person, personally arriving at the scene and handling miscellaneous tasks such as distributing questionnaires, investigating incidents/accidents, and even the dangerous task of tracking down criminals who have committed crimes and escaped into the Hollow.

However, due to her position, she is also the representative face of Public Security, so she sometimes has to face the absurdity of suffering hatred from the people he is supposed to protect because of the failures of those involved. In addition, perhaps because her personality is too straightforward, she cannot read the minds of villains, and there are scenes in the story where she is almost fooled.

Zhu Yuan teams up with her subordinate - Qingyi and the two of them often act together. In terms of position, Zhu Yuan is Qingyi's superior, but perhaps because Qingyi has a longer career than Zhu Yuan, she respects Qingyi as her senior even though Qingyi is only a subordinate.

When she was still a citizen, her life was saved by Sunbringer, who was hailed as a hero by the Public Security at that time, and she greatly admired the Public Security and Sunbringer. The reason she is currently working at the Public Security is because she wants to become someone who can protect others like Sunbringer.
