Overview
An illustrator (イラストレーター) is a person who makes a living drawing pictures (illustrations) for the primary purpose of communication in some way, such as visualizing, illustrating, or entertaining information or concepts.
The main scope of activity includes illustrations, covers, picture books, advertisements, packages, posters, etc. In Japanese pop culture, they are sometimes referred to as eshi.
