Overview
Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury (機動戦士ガンダム水星の魔女, Kidō Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) or G-Witch is an upcoming mecha anime television series from the Gundam franchise, scheduled to air in October 2022. Prior to the broadcast, the prequel PROLOGUE was released July 14, 2022.
It will be the first new TV animation work in five and a half years since the previous Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans was broadcast, and also the first new Gundam in 2022.
It will be broadcast on Mainichi Broadcasting System and other broadcasters.
On March 29, 2022, a teaser PV was released, revealing a visual of the main character and the lead MS XVX-016 Gundam Aerial.
At the same time, it was announced that the main character would be female, making it the first female protagonist in a TV series. It will be a school story about five boys and girls.
