Neco-Arc (ネコアルク, Neko-Aruku) is the first character that even the staff can no longer control, and she is the embodiment of the production staff's spirit of mischief. You, too, should have cat ears. Her appearance is a cat-like version of Arcueid in a severely deformed form having the same voice actor as her. Her gender is listed as "……What……?" (from Melty Blood Act Cadenza PS2 site) and in the remake as cat (from Tsukihime Material I). She first appeared in the Tsukihime's bad-ending section, Teach me, Ciel-sensei!, in which she appeared as an assistant to Ciel-sensei.
Due to the urban legend that there are six Neco-Arcs, several people played the role in the Drama CD version of Melty Blood. Incidentally, it was at that time that Joji Nakata was half-jokingly asked Jouji Nakata do the voice, and this was the impetus for the creation of....... She lives in the Great Cat Village (GCV) underground, where these jokers live in abundance.
Her free-spiritedness is unparalleled in Type-Moon history, and she is a character who is made a complete and utter joke, like the rightful owner of a prank. Her activities are wide-ranging, including guest appearances in the aforementioned Melty Blood and even Fate/tiger colosseum UPPER, both of which are simultaneously affiliated with Type-Moon.
Despite her Japanese name still being written as neko (cat) she is meant to be pronounce as neco.
In the past some fans mistakenly written her name with the first part as a kanji. This can be seen on a few old websites.
A case where her name is in kanji.
Background
She has been swamped by her natural enemies and many others, has been beaten to a pulp by Neco-Arc's eternal rival for the clan, and is even receiving one-sided and unaware endearment from a violent violinist.
To top it all off, she was captured by a haughty housekeeper and subjected to biological experiments, was treated roughly by a mecha maid who took great pains to follow her, and was trampled on by the expected princess of the Neco Kingdom, and a stated tsundere by Neco-Arc, sister in a school uniform.
In Melty Blood: Type Lumina she and Mash Kyrielight team-up and also shows up in the boss rush mode putting Miyako in the Tsukihime remake story.
Abilities
Her weapons are sharp claws, beams from the eyes, and daring jets.
