Outline
Lisa Minci is a 4-Star playable Catalyst Electro character in Genshin Impact.
A powerful mage recognized as Sumeru Akademiya's most distinguished graduate in 200 years, Lisa has since returned to Mondstadt to become the humble Librarian of the Knights of Favonius.
- Normal Attack: Lightning Touch
- Normal Attack: Performs up to 4 lightning attacks that deal Electro DMG.
- Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal Electro DMG after a short casting time.
- Plunging Attack: Gathering the might of Electro, Lisa plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Electro DMG upon impact with the ground.
- Elemental Skill: Violet Arc
Channels the power of lightning to sweep bothersome matters away.
Press: Releases a homing Lightning Orb.
On hit, it deals Electro DMG, and applies a stack of the Conductive status (max 3 stacks) to opponents in a small AoE.
Hold: After an extended casting time, calls down lightning from the heavens, dealing massive Electro DMG to all nearby opponents.
Deals great amounts of extra damage to opponents based on the number of Conductive stacks applied to them, and clears their Conductive status.
- Elemental Burst: Lightning Rose
Summons a Lightning Rose that unleashes powerful lightning bolts, launching surrounding opponents and dealing Electro DMG.
The Lightning Rose will continuously emit lightning to knock back opponents and deal Electro DMG throughout the ability's duration.
- 1st Ascension Passive: Induced Aftershock
Hits by Charged Attacks apply Violet Arc's Conductive status to opponents.
- 4th Ascension Passive: Static Electricity Field
Opponents hit by Lightning Rose have their DEF decreased by 15% for 10s.
- Utility Passive: General Pharmaceutics
When Lisa crafts a potion, she has a 20% chance to refund a portion of the crafting materials used.
- Level 1: Infinite Circuit
Lisa regenerates 2 Energy for every opponent hit while holding Violet Arc.
A maximum of 10 Energy can be regenerated in this manner at any one time.
- Level 2: Electromagnetic Field
Holding Violet Arc has the following effects:
- Increases DEF by 25%.
- Increases Lisa's resistance to interruption.
- Level 3: Resonant Thunder
Increases the Level of Lightning Rose by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level 4: Plasma Eruption
Lightning Rose now unleashes 1-3 lightning bolts when it attacks.
- Level 5: Electrocute
Increases the Level of Violet Arc by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level 6: Pulsating Witch
When Lisa takes the field, she applies 3 stacks of Violet Arc's Conductive status onto nearby opponents. This effect can only occur once every 5s.
Lisa is a proficient witch; as such, she enjoys everything related to the elements and items that would help her understand them. Despite her position as Librarian, Lisa takes it somewhat haphazardly as she appears to be relatively bored dealing with normal books, instead preferring those in the restricted section. She still takes the job seriously nonetheless, and will personally go out to collect books that are long overdue, albeit in a way that she can still enjoy the smaller things in life.
Her haphazard, carefree personality comes from her Vision, as while the gods gave it to her and she was sated with knowledge she wanted to learn, they did not tell her what the price was, and she began fearing the truth behind them. This in turn caused her to become rather paranoid, and she left Sumeru out of fear that she was paying too high a price for knowledge, relegating herself to categorization and management of the library, usually refusing to take any other duties unless absolutely necessary.
When Lisa is angered, the surrounding air near her becomes electrified in part due to her Electro Vision. Depending on the severity of what has angered her, she can either be simply irritated or become extremely scary, the latter also causing her to dispense "appropriate" punishment.
Lisa seems to be fond of the Traveler, and sometimes acts flirtatious, referring to them as "cutie" or "darling," and admitting that they're special to her.
She loves tea and thinks that afternoon tea is the most important part of her day. She sometimes takes tea with vegetable soup as she once used to enjoy this with Jean at the Good Hunter restaurant. She also suffers from cucurbitophobia, a fear of pumpkins.
When Lisa is around, I always have peace of mind. If only there was some kind of mysterious potion that could keep me awake forever... I need to have a talk with Lisa tomorrow.
Lisa is the best! She always sneaks me some treats when I visit her at the workshop. ...Huh, I just remembered I was gonna ask her if I could use the workshop to make some new gunpowder. But I totally forgot...
Oh Lisa. Hmm... You'd better not forget to return your books on time. I made that mistake once and boy was she angry. My arm is still numb from last time...
Lisa? I always am impressed by the valuable perspectives she brings to discussions. But is a person with her talents satisfied with such a basic occupation as librarian? There must be some hidden reason for this.
When you have time, we should go see Lisa! Last time I saw her, she was telling me about a story involving a treasure in the Dragonspine area. But, we got cut off before she could finish. I can't wait to hear the rest of her story!
If Lisa's not sleeping, she'll be reading! I don't know how she does it, I wouldn't be able to sit still for that long.
I always take good care of Lisa. If she ever wants to become a star, she'll have my unconditional support, I'll cheer at the top of my lungs until my voice goes hoarse... Hmm, that might scare off her other fans though...
I believe Lisa has the potential to become the most reliable of the knights. If she's willing.
After all this time, Lisa still calls me "Little Collei" when she writes to me. I feel like by now she... hmm? She calls you "cutie"? Hahaha... Sorry, I don't mean to laugh, um... but I must say, that makes me feel a lot better.
Of course I know about Lisa, we once both studied under the same sage. As General Mahamatra, I've seen many tragedies befall those seeking knowledge too assiduously, so it's easy for me to understand her decision.
Oh, I know who you're talking about. Lisa Minci — the legendary Spantamad prodigy who graduated in just two years. If only I had her brains... Huh? You met her in person when you were in Mondstadt? R—Really? So... what's her studying process like? What books does she read, and what kind of work does she do? Where... Where should I start if I want to learn from her?
Lisa is so nice and gentle! But... how can such a gentle person also be a regular drinker!? Ohhhh... Why!? ...There's really no hope for Mondstadt, is there?
She's so annoying. She must have read thousands of books... could even be tens of thousands. Meaning, she can effortlessly recall any number of vile tales about the Lawrence Clan's corruption off the top of her head, accurate down to the exact date. Logically speaking, she'd be the perfect person to talk to about someone I'd like to track down, but... swallowing my pride would be too great a challenge.
Fischl: The magus-custodian of books, gatekeeper of universal knowledge... Win her trust, and one may yet gain access to a vast repository of wisdom...
Oz: She means as long as you return your first few library books on time, you'll never have any trouble borrowing a book again.
A Tempus Fugit... The constellation derives its name from the hourglass, and stands for knowledge and time — or rather, the trade-off between them. As each grain of sand falls down, a moment of time — of life, even, dies for good. To stop the unrelenting flow of sand, one would have to turn the hourglass on its side. But once the sand comes to rest, it remains motionless forever... Hmm, maybe 'becomes lazy' is more accurate than 'comes to rest,' in this case.
Lisa lightning makes the sky black. She is strong. She is scary.
Although I deplore those who play truant on a job, I respect her punctuality when it comes to closing up for the day.
She really seems to know a great deal. She's obviously never seen my research, and yet on so many occasions she's given me advice on that which is most core to my studies. Just how does she know? Is it observation, or is it ratiocination?
Cyno has mentioned her before — an extraordinary genius with a veritable wealth of knowledge and talent. A pity that she returned to Mondstadt so long ago. Perhaps, in the course of her studies, she witnessed the horrifying side of knowledge...
(Traveler): Lisa and Amber (Genshin Impact) feel a bit like sisters.
Paimon: Huh? Why's that?
(Traveler): Amber often runs errands for Lisa. Older siblings asking their younger siblings to do things for them so that they can slack off is a rather common practice...
(Traveler): But my (sister/brother) and I are the same age, so we had to decide these things via rock-paper-scissors.
Paimon: Whoa. So, doesn't that make you my younger (brother/sister)?
(Traveler): What do you mean?
Paimon: Well, since Paimon floats, you're the only one who can "run" any errands!
(Traveler): ...Seriously?
(Traveler): About those books in the "restricted section" that Lisa mentioned...
(Traveler): Have you ever wondered what sort of books might be kept in there?
(Traveler): Perhaps...
(Traveler): ...It contains books not suitable for children?
Paimon: Huh? But "The Boar Princess" isn't in the restricted section!
Paimon: What could be more unsuitable for children than that? ...Hmm, Paimon's curious...
