Badniks (バドニック Badonikku) are mass-produced robots made by Dr. Eggman. They are enemy characters that uses the powers of the small animal inside of them. The term badnik is mainly just a term within the west as Japan uses the term Eggman's robots (エッグマンのロボット Egguman no Robotto).
