Overview
Black Doom (ブラックドゥーム Burakku Dūmu) is A character appearing in Shadow the Hedgehog, a spin-off game in which Shadow is the main character.
He is the leader and creator of the Black Arms, a fighting race based on Black Comet, a periodic comet that passes near Earth once every 50 years. He wears a robe with ornaments from an ancient civilization around his neck, and has only his upper body without legs.
He suddenly appears before Shadow, who has yet to regain his memory of the past, and urges him to find the Chaos Emeralds, saying it is time to fulfill his promise.
His purpose is shrouded in mystery, but as the leader of a fighting race, he himself possesses great power. Since then, he has been steadily suppressing rebellion factors that could be an obstacle to him, such as having the Black Arms attack G.U.N. and Dr. Eggman's fleet, while controlling Doom's Eye, his messenger, and monitoring Shadow. He has wreaked havoc on the Earth.
