Satires is a collection satirical poems (that being 16 poems all together) divided into five books made around the end of the first and the early second centuries A.D. by Latin Roman author Juvenal.

"Who will watch the watchmen?" (しかし、誰が見張りを見張るのか?), is an excerpt from The Ways of Women (1.), that being Satire VI, the sixth and most popular poem of Satires. Satires is a collection satirical poems (that being 16 poems all together) divided into five books made around the end of the first and the early second centuries A.D. by Latin Roman author Juvenal.

Note that the original quote, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" , is sometimes translated as "but who will watch the warders?" or "Who will guard the guards themselves?" .

On pixiv, it is a tag for a MUGEN male & female tag team featuring Rorschach from Watchman and Ryouko Asakura from Haruhi Suzumiya. Both share the same watchman's role, absolutely uncompromising character, reeking of blood, and Koyubi de Gyu! (Squeeze with Our Pinkies!).

A tournament was held to promote the movie version of Watchmen, which was in theaters at the time, and was the first time that a tag team was formed. They won the tournament with the same violence as their image.
