Dead or Alive is a video game series produced by Tecmo and developed by Team Ninja. It is primarily composed of fast-paced 3D fighting games.
Dead or Alive (デッドオアアライブ, Deddo oa Araibu), or DOA is a franchise by Tecmo and Team Ninja that consists primarily of fighting games. Currently, there are six main titles set in a world fighting tournament named "Dead or Alive" and four spin-off titles in the Xtreme series, which are beach games played by the female characters from the main series.
Beside the games, the series also had a live action adaptation in 2006 titled DOA: Dead or Alive made by a international co-production.
