Overview
Tecmo (テクモ, Tekumo) was a Japanese video game company. Before being founded in 1967, it was Imperial Trustee Corporation (1964) and Nippon Yacht (1967) that merge together as Tecmo and entered the Famicom (NES) market.
Since then, the company has become known as the game company it is today. Although the company has a strong image of selling beautiful 3D characters, it is also the company that made Monster Rancher, a title for kids, a hit (Monster Rancher also had some sex appeal, but ......).
