    • Overview

    Devils (悪魔, Akuma / デビル, Debiru) are a race of supernatural creatures born in Hell by humanity's fears or rebirth. Devils get their name from the fear they are the embodiment of (i.e., fear of chainsaws → Chainsaw Devil).


    Although they are called devils, they are not closely related to so-called religious devils, but are more like yokai in that they are born out of human fear and feed on that fear.
