Overview
Gagaga Bunko (ガガガ文庫) is a light novel label published by Shogakukan that launched in May 2007. The spine is blue. At the time of its launch, there was a 50-50 split between original works and novelizations, but now the focus has shifted to original works.
For better or worse, it is a label that is going its own way, and there are many works that are sharp in various ways, unique, and chaotic in that they seem to be cut off at the conception stage, which you cannot find elsewhere.
In fact, Shogakukan had published a light novel label called Super Quest Bunko from June 1992 to December 2001, but for some reason treated it as dark history when Gagaga Bunko was launched.
