Italian cuisine (イタリア料理, Itaria ryōri) refers to cuisine developed in Italy. Italy is known as one of the most gastronomic countries in Europe along with France and Spain.
Compared to French cuisine, Italian cuisine has a strong image as an easy popular dish that even beginners can easily try. It is often served as à la carte dishes such as spaghetti, pasta, and pizza in restaurants and homes, and is also commonly eaten as frozen food in Europe, the United States, Japan, and other parts of the world.
