Overview
Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, known in Japan as Kirby of the Stars or Hoshi no Kirby (星のカービィ) is an anime series with a total of 100 episodes that were broadcasted in Japan from October 6, 2001 to September 26, 2003 on TBS affiliate stations (excluding TV Yamaguchi), including Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting, the production station. While most anime based on Nintendo games are broadcast on the TV Tokyo network, this is a rare work that was broadcast on the TBS network.
Although Kirby's creator, Masahiro Sakurai, supervised the anime, the majority of the characters and setting are original to the anime, and the game version and the anime version are different.
However, some of the settings from the anime were carried over to the later game series.
