Fighter aircraft built by Mikoyan Gurevich.

The MiG-15 is a single seat fighter built by Mikoyan Gurevich in the late 40s. The aircraft was involved in the first jet vs jet dogfight in Nov 1950 and also became the first jet aircraft to be shot down by another jet aircraft when a US Navy F9F Panther from VF-111 shot one down. The MiG-15 was also license built by Czechoslovakia (S-102/103), Poland (Lim-1/2) and the People's Republic of China (J-2/JJ-2).
