Overview
Miyuki is a second year student transferred to class 2 of Nanairogaoka Public Middle School, and later joined to be the school's cheerleading squad.
She holds a great fascination in books, especially fairy tales. She has a habit of blurting out "Ultra Happy!" when she is happy, while "Happu-pu-" when she is down. Miyuki is cheerful and optimistic, but also something of a klutz.
When she transforms into a PreCure, she holds the ability to control light, and in this form, she will be able to manipulate light energy. Her PreCure in this form is Cure Happy. She is also noted to be the PreCure that does not get influenced by the Bad Energy. Due to her cheerleading experience, her powers led her to recover Akane, Yayoi and Nao to normal.
It is currently unknown about her family members at this point.
Similarity to Other Characters
Due to her background, she has been compared to Tsubomi Hanasaki. Aside from the similarity of being a transfered student, both of them also share other similar traits:
- Her encounter with the fairy.
- Her first day in school, especially during her introduction.
- Her excitement when in school (so much that she attracted various attention, and turned embarrassed after).
- Her inability to control her powers when first transformed into a PreCure (by jumping very high, for instance). While Tsubomi ended up creating a huge hole as a result, Miyuki ended up dropping on Akanbee due to her recklessness.
- Her skill name is related to the word "Shower", though she is not the first character to ever have that relation (Cure Berry and Cure Amuse comes into mind).
However, when it comes to personality, Miyuki is a lot similar to PreCure 5's Nozomi Yumehara. The most interesting thing that relates both Miyuki and Tsubomi would be the fact that Misato Fukuen, the voice actress for Miyuki is the Nana Mizuki's junior, who actually voiced Tsubomi. Both of them also appeared in their radio drama shows as well.
Trivia
Her trademark hairstyle has made fans comparing her hair with Croissant.
One of the rare moments where her hair is seen straight instead of her usual drill hairstyle, seen in ep.4. However, one thing to note is that, there is no shower scene in the main show itself.
She is also compared to the other Miyuki, who appeared in Fresh Pretty Cure!
