Overview
Natural number (自然数, shizensū) is a number used to express the number of pieces or the order of pieces.
There are two ways of thinking about it: one is to not include zeros, as in "1, 2, 3, 4......", and the other is to include zeros, as in "0, 1, 2, 3, 4......".
