Overview

Sasami-san@Ganbaranai (ささみさん@がんばらない) is a Japanese light novel series written by Akira (日日日), and with illustrations by Hidari (左). Previously published in 11 volumes.

It was comicalised by Akira Nishikawa (西川彰) and serialised in Weekly Shōnen Sunday. The manga version is in a total of 4 volumes.

The anime adaptation was broadcast from January to March 2013 on TBS, CBC, Sun TV and BS-TBS.

The anime version was produced by Shaft and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo.

Plot

Sasami Tsukuyomi, a first-year high school student who is a hikkikomori, lives her life mainly alone, apathetic towards everything (to the point changing and eating became a menial task for her) in a room with her brother, Kamiomi Tsukuyomi. But with all the strange phenomenon caused by ya-o-yorozu no kami, along with "Evil 3 sisters of the Yagami family", it seems that she will be living an unusual daily life even with her shut-in attitude.
