Overview
Beast or animal ears (獣耳, kemonomimi) have long been recognized as one of the representative moe elements. The design of such characters mainly takes the form of a humanoid look with animal ears attached to the top or side of their head. They range from simple animal ear attachments and other accessories to animal ears growing on the head.
Other parts of the head often reflect the image of the original animal, such as the tail.
