Breeding (繁殖, hanshoku) refers to the creation of a generation of new individuals of a species by an organism to increase the number of individuals of that species. Usually it refers to when people arrange animals to breed. Reasons for this can be for livestock, to push back extinction of a species, aesthetics or to evaluate an ability (think breed show, where people show off their animals), ect.
