Mahou Tsukai no Hako (まほうつかいの箱) is a series featuring TYPE-MOON's mascot characters.

Overview

Mahou Tsukai no Hako (まほうつかいの箱,lit."Magician's Box") is a series by TYPE-MOON featuring the company's mascot characters Hibiki Hibino and Chikagi Katsuragi.

This was also the title of the now defunct TYPE-MOON's membership mobile website that ran from January 26, 2009 to April 30, 2014 with a monthly membership fee of 315 yen. Some functions were also available to non-members. It is not compatible with smartphones.

Members were customers of Ahnenerbe, a coffee shop that appears in TYPE-MOON related works and greeted by Hibiki and Chikagi. Downloading with using points, members could get such things such as ringtones.

The main characters has showed up in Carnival Phantasm with there very own special called Carnival Phantasm: HibiChika Special (カーニバル・ファンタズムひびちかスペシャル) in 2012.

HibiChika Time (ひびちかタイム) is a 4-Koma manga by daishinrin serialized in Comptiq. It depicts the loose daily life of Hibiki and Chikagi as well as other characters in Mahou Tsukai no Hako.

Mahou Tsukai no Hako: Starlit Marmalade (まほうつかいの箱スターリット・マーマレード) is a comedy manga by Reijhiro Kikaider serialized in Comp Ace. It was published on July 26, 2013 to January 25, 2014.

The main characters had show up within some crossover mangas such Type-Moon Gakuen: Chibichuki! (TYPE-MOON学園ちびちゅき), a gag manga featuring various TYPE-MOON characters and All Around Type-Moon.

Drama CD

Mahou Tsukai no Hako Drama CD: Starlit Marmalade (まほうつかいの箱ドラマCD スターリット・マーマレード) was a drama CD released in 2 volumes from September 26, 2012 to June 26, 2013. It was written by OKSG and composed by Ko Nakagawa and Yuki Nara. It was introduces three new characters, Serena Sarashina, Mayuko Mayuzumi, and Clara Kurieda.

She is a part-time clerk. She and Hibiki went to high school together and are friends. Hates being called a tsundere.	She is a part-time clerk. She and Chikagi went to high school together and are friends. She is good at cooking. A bit of a natural.
Mr. Cellphone (CV:Daisuke Kishio)	Sunao Sugata (CV:Ayumi Tsuji)

Mysterious cell phone that refers himself as Pakeshi. He often messes with Chikagi and gets snapped off.	A regular customer and classmate of the two. She is a very spicy person and always has Tabasco on hand.
Serena Sarashina (CV:Marina Inoue)	Nozomi Kuroi (CV:Mutsumi Tamura)

A freshman at Kagamisaki High. A friend of Chikagi's since junior high school. She is said to have had a dark personality, but after entering high school, she became bright and gorgeous as if she had changed her personality.	She is a teacher at Kagamisaki High School. In HibiChika Time she has amnesia and treats the infirmary like a private room.
Chidori Katsuragi (CV:Rina Satou)

Older sister of Chikagi and graduate of Kagamisaki High School. She is a beautiful, talented, cheerful, and an active person.
